A blockbuster new film about the Civil War could make its way to Netflix on Monday.
Anthem Game, starring the late Robert Duvall, is set for release on Dec. 14.
The movie follows the lives of four families in the early 20th century as they face the horrors of the Civil Wars.
“A lot of the stuff we are going to see, from the Civil war, is really resonant,” Netflix President Ted Sarandos said.
Netflix has more than 1.3 billion subscribers across all platforms, including mobile and streaming.
Duvall, who played Confederate General Robert E. Lee in the hit film “The Rebel Without A Cause,” will play Henry Lee.
It will be the first film to be released by Netflix this year after a major franchise hit, “The Crown,” was released in May.
Its predecessor, “Anthem,” was a major hit in 2014.
