The latest Star Wars game from Electronic Arts and EA Access, Battlefront II, will launch on October 25, 2018, EA announced today.
The expansion will add the Empire Strikes back and its multiplayer mode, as well as several new multiplayer maps.
Players will also be able to unlock the “Star Wars: Assault Force” mode, which sees players battle Imperial stormtroopers, stormtrooper-controlled space ships, and even Death Star superweapon.
The game’s story mode will take place in the early days of the Galactic Empire.
The first three Star Wars games, Battle for Endor, Return of the Jedi, and Return of Yoda, saw players take on missions for the Empire.
This new Battlefront sequel will focus on the Imperials, though the game’s official description notes that it will also feature “a large cast of characters, including Darth Vader, Han Solo, Leia Organa, and Lando Calrissian.”
Battlefront II will cost $49.99, and will come to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 23.
