In the years since President Trump took office, college basketball has seen a lot of changes.
As a result, there are some significant differences in the way athletes across different sports are viewed.
And for some players, that’s a big deal.
It’s not just about the accolades they get.
It can also have a huge impact on how they get paid and how much they get to play in the games.
For instance, the top-ranked men’s basketball team in the country is expected to earn more than $6 million this season, according to ESPN.
That means some players earn less than that.
For others, the paychecks are much less, and they end up getting paid much less.
For the most part, it’s up to the players and coaches to figure out what their paychecks should be.
But here’s a look at the biggest paychecks, based on how much money they make.
In this first of a two-part series, we take a closer look at college basketball players and the salaries they make, the types of roles they fill, and the types that don’t pay as well.
Duke basketball player Josh Hart, a freshman, earned more than three times as much this season as the team’s average player.
He is expected on the court this season to earn about $4.2 million, according the Sporting News.
That’s the fourth-highest total per-game salary in the NCAA.
But Hart, 19, said he was “very surprised” that he earned so much money.
“I was expecting to make more money, especially with the big games, and it’s not what I expected,” Hart told the Sporting Green, a Duke blog.
“It’s kind of amazing, and I feel like it’s something I’ll have to live with for a long time.”
Hart has been a part of Duke’s national championship run this season.
He also is a key part of the Blue Devils’ team for the national semifinals in February.
Michigan basketball player Brandon Taylor, a sophomore, earned nearly $2.8 million in his freshman season, making about $2,600 more than his fellow Wolverines’ player.
Taylor, 21, said that despite his success, he’s worried about how much he will be able to make in his first season.
“You don’t know how much you can make until you start earning,” Taylor told the Detroit Free Press.
“That’s something that I’m really nervous about.”
Taylor is expected in his sophomore season to make about $1.6 million.
Kentucky basketball player Austin Nichols earned $1,000 more per game this season than his team’s national player of the year, Jordan Bell.
He said he is still trying to figure that out.
“When you start making money, you’re going to be a better player,” Nichols told the Courier-Journal.
“The game is really hard to learn, and you get paid to do it.”
Nichols said he hopes to earn “at least a couple of million” this season and beyond.
“Everybody wants to be able be a top-10 player and I think that’s really what it’s about,” Nichols said.
“For me, it’ll be just about making sure that I continue to get better.”
North Carolina basketball player Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, a senior, earned $2 million more per year than his teammates on a national team that made the NCAA tournament.
Kidd- Gilchrist, who is a native of Lexington, Kentucky, told ESPN he was also surprised that he made so much more.
“We’re not going to win championships here,” Kidd- Gillchrist said.
Kidd Gillchrist is a big reason why Duke and North Carolina are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the AP poll.
He averaged 17.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
But Kidd-Gillchrist said the most important thing about being a college basketball star is that it helps your family financially.
“If I make a little bit more, then I’ll probably have more money for my family,” Kidd Gill.
Michigan State basketball player Marcus Paige, a junior, is expected for a big season.
Paige is expected be a starter for the Spartans this season after averaging 8.7 and 8.2 points, respectively, this season for Michigan State.
Paige said he would like to earn a few million more than what he was making in the Big Ten.
“As a freshman I made about $3,000 per game and now I’m in my second year, I feel really good,” Paige told the Michigan Daily.
“There’s a lot more to do.
I feel great about what I’m doing.
I’m still going to work hard, I still want to get to that number, but I think the more that I do, the more money I’ll make.”
Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel earned nearly two times as many money
